I feel bad for the boy because he is the scapegoat for the father. I think it was the monster that caused all the misfortune in the family unless that thing is symbolic of something else. I like how you left that plot thread up to interpretation.
Despite the subject matter the story drew me in, I realized that is one aspect of horror is when done well it can pull you into its thralls. Its something I learned when I made my own Horror game for a game jam and play through Pocket Mirror.

This was really good! There are a few errors in the grammar area, but there fairly small and easily looked over. I especially liked the small touches, such as at the end when his socks were mismatching. If you ever make an extended game I'd love to play it!

yep, i'm planning an extended version but I'm still not sure if I tell the story that happens after the game or before the game. Both are interesting.

Very short game but made very well! The game play was fun, the story was addicting, and the artwork was absolutely beautiful! It's nice to see horror games with vibrant colors as opposed to the usual washed-out gloominess most games are created with.
